Sponsorship & Donations

Here's how your sponsorship helps a child in need

    • Sponsorships help provide food, safe drinking water, education and income-generation skills for the children. Sponsorship funds are pooled and used to help meet the individual and group needs of all children in the program, including children awaiting sponsorship. Concerned Belizeans NEXT STEP programs help children gain self esteem and skills needed to go the next step which leads to self-sufficiency.

    • Letters and pictures you'll treasure
    •          You will receive a photo of your child and information about his or her life, as well as personal letters from your sponsored child. We encourage you to write back to your child and build a close relationship that can mean so much to you both. Many of our sponsors and children report that this unique correspondence is tremendously rewarding!

    • Our Child Progress Report keeps you in the picture
    •          You'll receive a yearly progress report on your sponsored child's progress in his or her studies as well as an update on their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

    • We support income-generating activities, like planting, sewing, engine repair, and computer training, which help enrolled children and parents develop a livelihood and become self-sufficient.

    • We use cross training development initiatives to provide skills-training and jobs so that families can sustain themselves.

    • As a child sponsor, expenses such as skill training, and salary of the limited CB parents are subsidized by your generosity.
